Rottefella (literally "The Rat Trap") - норвежский производитель креплений для беговых лыж.
The name refers to the style of ski binding invented by Bror With in 1927, more formally known as the 75mm Nordic Norm. The Rottefella-style three-pin binding has remained the standard for cross-country skiing for decades. Rottefella also produces one of the two systems that have largely replaced the 75mm, the New Nordic Norm which competes with the Salomon Nordic System.
Taking effect beginning of the 2007-2008, Rottefella will be the official bindings of Fischer Skis boots. Presently, Fischer boots use the Salomon Nordic System (SNS.) Rottefella is a manufacturer of NNN (New Nordic Norm) bindings. These two binding systems are not compatible, and, beginning in 2007, Fischer will be using the NNN system to be compatible with Rottefella bindings.
